IWARI (pronounced EE-WAH-REE) has always been open minded and adventurous.
IWARI is also a survivor. Defying the odds dealt to him by a devastating
illness at age 9, he is motivated to live life to the fullest; always
trying new things. Last December (2010) IWARI graduated from the University
of Southern California with a degree in mechanical engineering. At USC
IWARI kept himself involved with music as an outstanding member of the
Spirit of Troy. While searching for that perfect job, he found himself
focusing on his passion for rap music while chilling with his Super Smash
Crew.
IWARI writes and composes music in addition to being a skilled saxophonist.
IWARI’s love for music found expression when he began playing violin in
second grade. From the violin, he taught himself to play basic piano,
guitar, and brass instruments before settling on the saxophone at age 12.
