Bio
Born in Atlanta, GA, raised in Central and East Africa, and now Denver, CO
based rapper, singer, producer, and film director Crucifix, has rocked the
likes of MTV, VH1 as well as worldwide radio with his fluid and diverse
signature sound. Mixing fast-fire Southern Rap with smooth Rock vocals, a
touch of Soul and no holds barred lyrical content; audiences across the
globe are beginning to echo the question posed by radio talk show host,
Bubba The Love Sponge…”Is this guy the next big breakout artist?”
Having graced hometown stages at Atlanta’s Club Opera and The Atrium, to
festivals and venues in both Europe and Africa, Crucifix has begun to turn
heads on an international scale. In 2009 his riveting life story was
published in a book by multi-platinum, Grammy, Dove and American Music
Award winning band, Casting Crowns, and then in 2010, the story was
translated into it’s second language for an official release in
Europe.
In September 2013, Crucifix released his third full-length album, "Acid
Reign", produced by Phivestarr Production. As promised, this is his most
unique, multi-faceted, and inspirational project to date.
Crucifix’s talent and versatility can be seen most through the diversity
of artists he had collaborated with and opened up for. Spanning across
multiple genres, including the Grammy winning hip-hop group, Bone
Thugs-N-Harmony; Bubba Sparxxx, Nappy Roots, Yelawolf, Rittz, Jelly Roll,
Youngbloodz, YCMB’s Caskey, Boondox, Goodie Mobb, Gorilla Zoe, Three 6
Mafia’s Lil Wyte, Mr. Cheeks, and Pastor Troy, as well as country artists
like Montgomery Gentry, Colt Ford, The Lacs, JB and Moonshine Band and JJ
Lawhorn.
