Bio
With two music videos and a commercial under his belt plus a new album
project and his first short film/movie on the way, there isn't too much
this 22 year old 80's baby hasn't done in the entertainment industry. In
the early 90's Zell watched as his parents took to the road, presenting the
contemporary Christian music group ZAC (Zaundra and Anthony in Christ) to
colleges, churches', and organizations throughout Alabama and Georgia. Z
would operate the portable stage lights/music and occasionally dance on
stage with his father. Later on Zell's father saw his potential and
interest in the performing arts and in the summer of 1996 enrolled him in
the summer theatre arts program, Camp 3T(Teaching Through Theatre) at
Alabama State University under the direction of Dr. Tommie Stewart (the
renowned television actress on the award winning series " In the Heat of
the Night" as Etta Kibbee). During these summer sessions Z polished and
showcased the talents he would later use. In highschool, while most guys
were trying to figure out who to take to the prom or what position to try
out for on the team, Zell was busy working on his first cd project and
recording, editing, and packaging his father's plays on DVD. Released fall
2003, From A-2-Z started a buzz in his highschool and community giving him
the reputation of a young,up and coming producer and although he didn't
promote it, it was a producing/songwriting experience that would push him
to create the pre album to his latest project, Rhythm and Bass. Zell
produced "Dance With Me" ,his first single for the Pre-album, and in the
summer of 2005 shot/directed/edited the music video. In 2006 he
shot/directed/edited "Get Serious feat. Celatic", the second single from
the pre album, and was also featured in a Apple Ipod commercial for Alabama
Southern Community College. In 2007 he wrote, directed, and edited his
first short film/movie, All My Ex's, which will be available on the bonus
DVD included in the packaging of his new album, Rhythm and Bass VOL 1., set
to be released late summer 2008. R U READY 4 ZELL?? WWW.ZELL4U.COM
