-STAGE NAME –FLEX D AKA Don Dizzle It doesn’t really have a special
meaning, Flex came from my football coach and D (dollars) came from the
streets. I from Prov. R.I. and I currently live in CT. I was born in
Brooklyn NY, on June 7, 1985 and moved to Prov. City at the age of ten due
to both my parents being incarcerated I was forced to move with other
family members. I love to record music and get creative, music is my life!!
And my way of expressing how I feel about the situation and the story of my
life. I would like my music to reach out to the listeners, deep thinkers,
and those that appreciate real lyrics and creative hip hop. Everyone can
listen to my music, but I aim for the streets. I am a diverse with my
music, I like to give the truth and what the people want ya dig!! I write
my own music My music influences are Nas, Jay z, BIG, 2pac. My music
contains a lot of quality and thought provoking lyrics; you can get a lot
of creativity in my music and real life situation In the next 5 years I
hope to be alive and out of jail and comfortable in my career. Success to
me means that you made it! No worries financially, family is taken care of,
and the music lives on forever. I’ve had shows at clubs such as “Club
Blu” in Hartford CT, EL N GEES in New London CT, DÉJÀ VU In Bristol CT,
Johnson n Whales in Providence R.I., CCSU in New Britain CT, Fashion shows,
beauty pageants, Club Arcadia in New Britain CT, ECT. I have 5 mix tapes
out right now, Grind Mode 1 thru 3 and also a Tri state Compilation
featuring various artist from all over the east coast and south which was
recorded at track house studios in Hartford CT. I’ve had interviews with
different radio station such as “Talk of your Town radio”, Fab 4 radio
in Washington D.C., wbru 95.5and CCSU radio.
