Bio
Born in Bridgeport, CT in 1984, City Bammah was raised by his single
mother. His father was hardly ever in the picture. At age 7, tragedy
struck the family when his home was burned to the ground. The road ahead
wasn't looking so bright for him; leaving himself, his mother and three
younger siblings homeless. Living in a shelter in Newhaven, CT for some
time. Seeking a better life for her children, his mom decided to pack up
and move to VA. and shortly after to Springfield, Mass. That too was short
lived. Eventually, he moved back to Bridgeport, CT for a short while.
However, a troubled life moving back and forth from state to state and
financial problems, amongst other forms of adversity, ignited an angry,
defiant perspective towards life and authority. His mother interpreted
this behavior as him being "out of control". She decided to send him to
live with his father in NY. Three months later, Once again City B. found
himself relocating, due to the incarceration of his father. He moved to
North Miami, FL where his mother was living at the time. This opened up a
whole new chapter in his life especially the cultural differences. A race
war between Blacks (Yanks) vs. Haitians (Zoes), had been an element within
Miami prior. Technically PurertoRican and Black (Hebrew) but considered to
be a "Yank" he lived in a neighborhood where the majority of the population
was Haitians. After numerous violent incidents and retaleations, his
mother pleaded with him to moved to Broward County, Florida with his uncle
in Dania. Never settling in one place for too long, from city to city
"ripping and running" doing whatever it took to provide for his family.
Largely in part to him moving around so much, he went to several different
high schools, such as Miramar, Hollywood Hills, Stranahan, Ft. Lauderdale
and Widdon Roggers Opportunity School also known as the Wint). were he was
expelled. After not being able to attend any Broward County High Schools,
he found himself back in Bridgeport, CT. It was there where he realized
his lyrical abilities were more than just a past time. He realized music
was a way he could change his life financially. Using his experiences of
living, hustling and struggling in South Florida and Connecticut. He says
that there is no way he could represent one state more than the other. "I
got love for both states on personal street level". " I Dont go O-T to
visit. I go O-T to get it". "I got bout 10yrs in CT. under my belt and
11yrs in FL. City Bammah is not just a name it's a representation. It
represents both the "Krudd" city life of Connecticut and the "Goon" demenor
of South Florida.
Ambitions: "To provide a better life for my family,my homies and loved
ones"
Music history: "Started spittin in highschool but it was just something
to do fuckin around. Making money at that point for me and my family was
more important. Eventually i got back in to spittin and went hard at the
music game because the hood wouldn't let me stop" The Hood fucks wit me
tuff, Cause they know im all for the Hood"
REAL SHIT: I am ANTI FAKA 360 all way round... Its REAL OR DIE wit me!

on traks they be glorifying slangin as an only option. If you know what i
know you'll know most d boyz these days cant wait to switch up they hustle.
These crackaz hiding niggaz with the numbers they giving out. The dope
game aint what it was. The biggest gang out here is the (Hataz) aka Police.

But to be a hunnit witcha im tired. This cant be life..theres gotta be

special breed to overcome CONSTANT ADVERSITY! and remain a REAL individual
in the end. Shit...if i could've played college ball and did it the school
