Its rare to find originality in music, but even harder to find a lyricist, and when people hear seventeen year old MAR-E they become filled with disbelief. They can't believe a young woman in this day and age is making meaningful music by herself. With so many people aspiring to be artist real talent is hard to find, but if you're reading this, look no further you just found it. MAR-E born Mary Rose, is from Canada and some of her rap influences include: 2Pac, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Biggie. Actors include: Vince Vaughn, and Bernie Mac. Bands Include: Gym Class Heroes, and Blink 182. MAR-E's family are also her influences. She started rapping in 2007 at the age of sixteen but she has been a fan of music for as long as she can remember. MAR-E sets herself apart from many artist by writing and producing her own music. Before you listen to her, you might expect to hear what you've before from the other female rappers, but after you hear her music you realize she's better than some of the males, and you find yourself intrigued. "I found her music online, and I had been listening to a lot of artist all day, so I just figured her music would be weak like the rest of the stuff I heard but after playing one song I immediately wanted to work with her, she's just nice like that.
