“There was never a moment when I wasn't a musician.” Recalls Western
New York rapper Damario Gerrald, (stage name L.D.M.) As a kid he was
introduced to Hip Hop by his mother and her 3 brothers. Unlike most boys
his age, Damario replaced playing and watching cartoons with performing and
watching Yo MTV raps. He began creating his own songs by the age of seven.
By the time L.D.M. was 13 he began frequenting the studio with a local rap
group, The Dominion Dynasty.
He also began to live on the opposite side of the law, something that
eventually led to him spending time behind bars. After being released from
incarceration, L.D.M decided that it was time for a change. “ I made the
