Ferdinand McIntyre a.k.a. King Change, was born in Dallas, Tx. on July
29,1986. He chose to call himself King, symbolizing the fact that he shares
the same first name as "King" Ferdinand Magellan. Change, symbolizing the
fact that he has made many positive "changes" in his life. He is the
youngest of seven children and one of only two boys in his family. At the
age of nine King Change was exsposed to his inspiration for beginning his
career in music. The first time he heard rap artist Tongue Twista "from the
tip of my tounge", he had never heard a rapper rap so fast. He soon
realized his own talent and that he had a passion for music. Writing his
first song at the age of ten but not really taking it serious at the time.
Ages twelve and thirteen, he was known as the kid who raps after lunch in
the gym. Devin Custard a.k.a. Custom Made, doing the beat boxing.
Eventually, a group of many came about without a name. It was: David
Custard a.k.a. C4, Custom Made, Kerry Moses a.k.a. Slim Daily, and many
more. King Change did a collaboration with John Samples a.k.a. Lil Game, a
song called "High Tech Playas" but was never completed. He had spoken to
Lil Game about not having a group name, suggesting that he thought that
High Tech Playas would be a good name for the group that he was in. Lil
Game always gave King Change good advise on the music level and was in a
group called M.H.N.(Money Hungry N****s), So he gave the song to him. The
group agreed and From that day forward, High Tech Playas was the name of
the group. Not long after did he realize his talents for producing beats as
well as singing. He produced his first of many beats at the age of
fourthteen. Throughout the years King Change has evolved into a
rapper/singer/song writer/producer at the age of twenty-three and having C4
and his wife Desire as business partners. He is a self employed
entrepreneur with several businesses sprouting beneath his wings. Having
several clothing lines coming soon and is working on his first of two
books. King Change is on the path to much success and is definitely a name
to be remembered. For he is a young man with God on his side and his faith
in front of him.
