I am a singer/songwriter from Akron, OH. I have performed with a few
national acts, most recently opening for Lyfe Jennings in June of 2013.
About a year ago I started pushing my original music and have had some
positive response. I am currently #5 on the Local R&B/Soul Charts on
Reverbnation. http://www.reverbnation.com/damonleon. My song "Stay For A
Little While" cracked the Top 20 on the N1M Charts at #18 and Finalist in
the wpbradio "You Got Soul" contest. I have participated in and won several
contests; Top 3 Finalist in 2008 Gulf Coast Rock Idol in Pensacola, FL. Two
time winner of Franks Place Market Street Idol, Akron, OH. I Was briefly
signed to MCA records in 1989.
