Born G. Jean Charles (August 10th, 1985) in Grand-Islet, Haiti. He gave
himself the stage name Jay Zo, Which means Last Haitian, based on black on
black discrimination he faced growing up in Belle Glade, Florida. Zo began
jotting raps and tapping rhythms after his family settled in Belle Glade
almost 10 years ago. Numerous emcee word battles, high school party
freestylin' and short-lived bands later, the 23-year-old moved to
Bradenton, Florida where he majors in Business/Psychology at Manatee
