The Young G.O.D.z is a group of lyrical artists who originated in Charlotte
N.C in 2003. They started with three members J.B, Ya~HiNe$$, and Young
FLaMEz who all resided on the South Side of the Queen City. In 2004 the
Young G.O.D.z welcomed another member from Charlotte N.C by the name of
Loose Kannon who hails from the west side. Each artist in this crew brings
exclusive elements to the world of hip-hop that illustrates and motivates
listeners to be creative and original. At the time of the name change from
"QC's Finest" to "Young G.O.D.z" rappers everywhere were claiming that they
were king. A king is nothing more then a man who will eventually die
hoping to leave a legacy but a god remains immortal. Quoting FLaMEz "...We
are the Young G.O.D.z of rap...". Some would think that saying they're
G.O.D.z is a bit much but if you look deeper you will see that G.O.D.
stands for G Out here Doin it. A G can be both gangsta and gentleman,
depending on the circumstances.
