Tone Da Rapper is A 19 year old Breathe of fresh air into the Hip Hop
game. Born July 2 1989, it was already foretold that he was going to be
something great in the Music world due to the legacy left behind by His
father the late great D.J. Toney Tone.
From birth Tone Was being Prepared for the hardships that lied ahead of
him. From the age of 2 years old he had already become familiar with his
fathers technic 1200’s . As Tone got older he improved his skills
behind the wheels of steel but Soon feel in Love With a whole different
aspect of the game…..THE LYRICAL SIDE!
He then jumped right into his new interest head on by beginning and
internship with his uncle at def jam records . While there he learned a lot
about the business and it motivated him to take his career to the next
step…Taking it to the studio.
From Jump Tone was Placed into Great Hands when he was introduced to a
long time family friend Ticnology Sounds aka “Tic”. After spending
night after night laying Down tracks to some Of Tics Hottest productions he
seemed to be a Natural at it. Tone Was then introduced to Lord Mazeg of
Callasoul entertainment where he began to record and diversify his
portfolio even more. Within That first year Tone had already Released his
debut Mix tape entitled “ 2 Sides of The Storm” which consisted of a
Blend Of the Hottest industry tracks which Tone added His own flavor to
them and also featured Some of Tone’s Original tracks.
After Releasing The first mix tape it quickly was proven to be a success
and He was Recognized by The streets and the industry as the phenomenal
Song writer that he is. Tone then was introduced to and independent label
by the Name of K.G.B Music where he later signed to and is now on His way
to the top with future appearances scheduled with New York Radio station
hot 97 and Drahma Magazine . Tone already Has had the Chance To collaborate
with Mix tape D.J.s such as D.J. Kool Kidd, D.J. Megatron D.J. Wateva, D.J.
Head Honcho D.J Los and The list goes on.
