Bio
For me it started at conception my pop loves music and my mom was a Motown
fanatic. Honestly it couldn’t help but be in my blood I was born 1/13/79
raised in Ecorse Mi (Southwest) stand up. Living with my grandparents had
me listening to the blues and gospel music almost every morning. I
couldn’t help but love it I adored music period. I had my hands in it
all, I started singing and I did a pretty good job, but I couldn’t get it
right, meaning I could write it but I couldn’t project it. I went to high
school in Taylor MI. where I realized I was pretty good at rhyming, but it
wasn’t anything serious yet. This was around 93’-94’ 1995 was that
year for me, you know that year where things start to pop off. Well this
was it. I was becoming popular for things I’m not proud of but heyy. I
was coming of age my cousin Yancy would always have me drop a freestyle we
could be chilling at a party or whatever we would be on the block just
spitting than after awhile I would be the only one left rapping well it’s
safe to say I had the skills but I didn’t know what to do with them. A
few yrs passed, life was lived mistakes were made which meant I had
something interesting to talk about I just needed to learn how to put it in
words. Around 2000-2001 that’s when I met a squad that would play a huge
part in my career I was an artist at no noize ent. Where I met a lot of
good ppl some of which I’m still good friends with today. Even though my
stay was short it still was a great learning experience. Well after that
chapter of my life was closed I was at a stand still I still had it in me
but my drive was gone. I wasn’t even sure if I even wanted it anymore and
ppl around me looked at me crazy when i said i was going to give it up. So
a friend of mine told me about this dude named Azell(Zeke) who was starting
his own label an this was around 2004.I really wasn’t interested because
I wanted to do my own thing but I wasn’t ready at that time so I met up
with dude an as soon as I got in front of that mic I was reborn an there I
decided to give Dollar 4 Dollar a try. I’ve learned a lot. I know what I
expect out of myself an from the people I deal with. I’m now working on
my own imprint Swagg City Ent. The experience with Dollar 4 Dollar has
groomed me to be the boss that I was born to be.
