His passion for Rap Music got into the game in the year 1999 and since then
worked with many artists in Sri Lanka and also with artists overseas.
Introducing the 1st pure Hip-Hop Group “Cilent Project” to Sri-Lanka he
hit the road to stardom from the hill capital and worked his way through to
the top of the Hip-hop/Crunk music scene The first to introduce “Crunk”
to Sri-Lanka, respected by fans for his uniqueness and mind blowing lyrics
“Smokani” has worked with many major Producers in the country. With
many hit tracks up his sleeve “Smokani” joined “Slacker
Productions” to enhance his career further and has been working with the
team and as a solo artist for the past 4 years releasing few hit singles.
Currently working on underground tracks with artists from all over the
world “Smokani” intends to work with upcoming artists and producers in
the future while remaining at the top of the game.
