Born Chicago Native:
Back in the 90's I use to DJ by the name Funky Child for Top Rock DJ team. I spun hip hop, house to deep house etc. I been listening to hip hop since late 80s, during that time I fell in love with it, I ate it, breathed it, smoked to it... whatever.

During that time I always was the kat that would throw vocals on top on instrumental just to have fun with different hip hop songs or I would beat box when we were all in a cipher. I just loved beats from the beginning man, in those days to make any beat you need mad equipment which I did not have the funds to get.

Now with technology it makes it a bit easier to do, only thing is I wish I was doing this long time ago. So now I have a crack at it and will just try to make beats from the soul and the heart.

I'm still pretty green at it so any feed back would be great. I dont have any set style I usually make beats closer to the golden era of hip hop, but I down for whatever.
