Bio
Reeverb is consisted of two guys with a strong passion for music residing
in Chester Virginia . One half of the group is Devonne Harris. Harris has
been playing the drums since he was a toddler. To further expand his
musical skills in middle school he chose to play the clarinet but
eventually started playing the drums again. Also in middle school is where
is discovered that he had perfect pitch. In high school is where he started
his infatuation with the piano. Playing Jazz piano in high school earned
him a scholarship. Harris is now a junior at Virginia Commonwealth
University , studying music, playing jazz all throughout the city of
Richmond , also while attending college he learned how to play the guitar
and bass. He plays regularly with Jazz Musician John D'earth. Xavier Laster
is the other half of Reeverb. He is a sophomore at Virginia Commonwealth
University , studying music and mass communications. Laster has always had
a strong passion for music. He started playing the Alto Saxophone in the
seventh grade. After listening to Beethoven’s Fur Elise in the eighth
grade Laster picked up the piano and started to teach himself how to play
it by listening to inspiring classical musicians like Beethoven, Mozart,
Bach etc. By the end of the first week of picking up the piano he had
taught himself how to play Fur Elise. Both Harris and Laster met in high
school and attended the same college. Both started making music in high
school but not as a group. After being told by friends and family that they
should pursue a career in music they formed Reeverb in November of 2007. If
