Born Enrico Westley on December 29, 1991 and raised in West Palm Beach,
FL., YOUNG REEK started writing lyrics at the ripe age of 13. It wasn't
until he laid eyes on a beautiful girl in school, that he realized he had a
gift to rap. When he was caught in the act of writing lyrics in class, the
girl forced him to rap for her. Moved by what she heard, told the entire
school that REEK was a rapper. From that moment on, he started taking his
rap serious.
Influenced by artists like LL Cool J, Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne, Ludacris
and Lil' Bow Wow, REEK's style is one that is heavy on lyrical content. He
wants his songs to touch many people around the world as well as stay true
to his Florida roots. It's not just the beat but what he says which he
wants his fans to remember his songs by.
His first professional gig was at the ripe age of 17 when he opened up for
the artist Rocko in Detroit, Michigan. Leaving home for the first time to
go after his dream.
