Born and raised in Spring Valley, New York (Rockland County aka Fort
Knoxx), Murcialago is no new-comer to the music scene. He established
himself quickly on the local rap circuit by destroying opponents since
1996. Since his beginning as a battle emcee, Lago, which he is also
commonly referred as for short, has matured and developed into one of the
top song writers outside of the NYC area. Regarded by many as the total
package, Murcialago is a very confident emcee packed with a unique flow and
incredible lyricism distinguishing him from the one-dimensional rappers
that currently flood the urban music scene. Murcialago is also a polished
performer that has appeared in numerous venues in and out of New York City
like clubs Speed, Temple, Jam Rock, Dream 2000, Spa, T-NY formerly club New
York, Sea Central and the Piccadilly Circus in Toronto, Canada. He has
generated a strong following under his own imprint, FAM-O Entertainment
which has enabled him to land on DVD’s such as ALL ACCESS DVD Magazine,
Hood Most, and The Buzz DVD Magazine. Not to mention radio shows like WCDB
90.9FM in Albany and also Project Bounce which is one of the most listened
to underground stations in Canada. Remaining true to himself and the art of
hip-hop, Murcialago, blends music reminiscent of hip-hop’s legends with
his own witty, cunning, and straight slick-talking style creating an
appealing sound that will be a force to be reckoned with in the near
