Bio
Born Devante Rashaad Hunter in the notorious Northwest Houston housing
projects Yale Village in Studewood, 20 year old ENVY knew growing up
wouldn't be easy. Living with semi-serious heart condition he still found
his escape-by playing football and running with his older cousin, a known
neighborhood hard head. Birthed by a hard-working single mother, Envy often
found himself at his Grandmother's house during the week to attend school.
There he would witness the everyday struggles of the average young black
man growing up in the early 90's
