E.D.U aka Doo Mambo is a conscious Hip Hopper hailing from Eastleigh's
Eastlands area code. First started with poetry and stage acting while still
in high school then later ventured into rap and hip hop. Was also part of
the group Wazee Wazima which comprised of members fron Nairobi and Mombasa
and the other members included: Manshizzle, Mo-Money, and klysspuss. The
group is credited with the street album entitled "Mambo Badd", which was
unofficially released but got enough street cred to push the name miles
ahead. After God's intervention, E.D.U then changed his style, went solo
and is now working on his first album dubbed "The Prodigal son" and the
first single is KEEP IT REAL feat project fame superstar Christine Apondi.
E.D.U is also the mastermind behind the "DOO MAMBO" slogan and emblem. DOO
MAMBO is a Swahili slang "Do Great Things" which initially originated from
the Bible's teaching, " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens
me".
