Bio
Morris Terrance Stevens aka Dez DaRealest was born on August 7th, 1985 in
Brooklyn, NY.
At a young age, Dez wanted to act and be on TV, but also had a true passion
for music. At the age of 6, Dez performed a rap that his first grade
teacher had written for him during a play in front of his whole school at
P.S.81 in Brooklyn. The rap was written to honor Martin Luther King Jr.
during black history month.
Throughout his years growing up, Dez was known to rap from time to time
along with other kids his age, sometimes mimicking his favorite songs by
rappers like Biggie, Jay-Z or Busta Rhymes, who was amongst his favorite
MC's, as well as most kids who grew up in Brooklyn during the 90's. He
started taking rap serious 9 years ago after the death of his father, and
has been doing it ever since.
In 2003, Dez DaRealest created HollowCo$t Entertainment and since has been
working launch the label and get signed for a distribution deal.
