Bio
I Anthony Fitzgerald Archie ( D. O. Dubb) was born July 27, 1980 in
Jackson, Mississippi at the University Medical Center. God blessed him to
be musically inclined at the early age of seven, when he began singing with
the Harvey Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Choir in Canton, MS. He began
to put his life in poetry at the age of thirteen. The poetry didn’t stop
there. Archie continued to write; however, at the age of fifteen his poetry
became tragic, filled with thoughts of the death of his brother, Jamie
Jamone Archie and his cousin, Michael Lewis. The confusion he dealt with
brought an indescribable anger and the kinds of words that he felt had the
power to be used either to help or destroy the mind. Becoming more and more
frustrated, he searched for ways to express himself as he dealt with the
pain of all the thoughts running through his mind.
