his origin. Born Samuel Hardy in Mt. Vernon, NY and raised in Yonkers,
Civillion has lived in a melting pot (YONKERS) for some of todays hottest
rappers. Growing up in the era of pushers, thugs, and pimps dominating the
industry, Civillion has proven to be more than just a rapper. He has been
influenced by chart topping rappers such as DMX, The Wu-Tang clan and rock
groups like Ozzy Ozbourne and Gunz N Roses. Developing his own unique style
of hip hop, was only a matter of time. As he learned to master his craft,
he quickly gained credible notoriety from peers, local studios, and
industry contacts as a strong and well-developed upcoming artist. His
Ill-Core style is definitely ready to be dropped. Unsigned Civillion has
definitely paid his dues, doing numerous open mics, talent showcases, and
talent shows up and down the east coast. Civillion has also done numerous
compilation albums with P. Entertainment, D.A. KRU Entertainment, NomadYCK
Life Productions and N.O.T.E. RECORDINGS based in Washington, D.C. where
Civillion does some of his recording and Chocolick City Records where
Civillion records in Yonkers. CIVILLION has also made a cameo appearance in
the made for blockbuster flick entitled ENDZ, which hit Blockbuster shelves
in winter 2005. Civillion was also a finalist in the Yonkers Freestyle
Friday which was hosted by Craig G, where Civillion demolished his
opponents, with his witty unpredictable freestyle. CIVILLION is definitely,
One in a Million and worth keeping an eye and a clear ear on. Proving his
skill, time and time again whether its freestyle or written, he has
definitely cornered a new market, with his timeless hits such as Hot Sh*t,
