bio- The group Criminalville Clik is made up of two members,
Zayliphe(Xavier Wilson) and Jburnz(William Jones), both products of
Richmond, Virginia. The group was formed in 2005. When the two met each
other in the studio. The group name reflects the city they grew up in from
the late 80's to the mid 90's.At that time Richmond was nationally known
for its criminal activity and was ranked in the top ten for highest murder
rate in the America. When it cames to music the two of them have different
attitudes and rap styles that mesh together as one. They both started out
at a very young age and was well known for battle rapping on the local
radio stations. Clubs in Richmond kept their music in heavy rotation with
joints like , "its me" ,"2up2down", "how it do", and "stackn change".Their
music always gives a real life perspective and shows the consequences and
life struggles of the inner city. The group feels that the music industry
today is putting out a lot of watered down material (pop corn music)
.Criminalville Clik feels that hip-hop needs to be brought back to the
basics with a new twist, a Criminalville Clik twist
