Residing in Atlanta, Ga BLESSIN' BOI, born Darrius Sims, has been carrying
out his dream since the age of 16, working with and producing for artist
such as Franchise, DIPSET, D4L, K-rab, BHI, and even BIG CAT RECORDS. While
producing music for other artist he still found time to make music for
himself as an artist. With his undeniable sound and having the gift to gab
his songs produced and written allowed him to become the opening act for
many other artist, like Jagged Edge, Shop Boys, Boyz 'N da Hood, B.o.B and
many more......
His very first mixtape "It's Bout Da Swag" - approximately moved more than
10,000 units independently (via internet downloads and physical copies
without any type of budget)
In the past year ('09 to current), BLESSIN' BOI have recorded new songs as
well as working and recording with the likes of newcomers Mullage and other
artist to build upon his resume. One special note is that he was able to be
on the Legion of Doom DJ's College tour which gave him a more variety to
his fan base in showcasing his musical talent.
BLESSIN' BOI believe his music always speak for itself and that patience
is a big part of success even in his own life. With that being said he has
full belief that his fan base will grow and become larger as he become
better.
