“The Beginning”
Marcus Johnson A.K.A. Apollo, started performing Rap at a young age for
family and friends throughout his South Philadelphia neighborhood. Apollo
did it for fun but to many , he had a unique quality and delivery and
encouraged him to take it serious because he inspired his peers. It
didn’t require much for Apollo to except and explore the
possibilities.
“Keys to Success”
Apollo believed that it was very important to keep his focus on education
because without it he wouldn’t get very far with or without his rapping
skills. Apollo asserted himself in programs during his school years at
Roman Catholic High School to help build his vocabulary because he viewed
words as keys to success.
“The Shows”
Performing in Philadelphia and throughout the tri state area, Apollo
received great reviews and positive accolades on his stage presence and
lyrical flow.
“The Plan”
To record his first EP, hoping not only to secure a recording deal, but to
share his vision through song, to elevate motivate and inspire the youth of
today with positive lyrics and true meaning.
