Tharell Roberts (2WinTi)
2WinTi (Tharell Roberts) is from Riceboro (Backwoodz) Georgia, a small city
located in Liberty County, (Coastal Georgia). He is the son of Joyce Lodena
Roberts and Clarence Turner and grandson of Barnease Roberts and The Late
James Roberts Sr. Raised in the church and stemming from a strong bloodline
of singers, The Relaford Family, 2Winti, pronounced (Twenty) followed in
the footsteps of his ancestors, picked singing and became a member of The
Riceboro Church of God Choir.
Influences
2WinTi’s strong passion and his love for music continue to strengthen as
he got older. His sound was original and so unique it was incomparable to
any other heard before him. The tone of the sound his voice produced was so
different, it captured and grasped those listening. Growing up to the music
of the 80’s and 90’s, 2WinTi did not have one specific entertainer that
has solely influenced him, there were many. If it sounded good and
presented a challenge vocally, 2WinTi learned it. With the likes of Boyz II
Men, Jagged Edge, Donnell Jones, Musiq SoulChild, Fred Hammond, Whitney
Houston, Brandy, as well as, Brian McKnight, Luther Van dross, Michael
Jackso, naming a few, 2WinTi would strive to mimic and produce a similar,
with a goal set in mind, to sound identical, to that particular artist. He
would then take the skills acquired along with that particular range and
began to apply it to his original sound. The thought that his passion for
music would soothe, captivate and have a positive influence on the lives of
many, was a dream that he soon, would set out on. His journey along the way
has had its highs and lows in turning that dream, into reality.
Choirs and Groups
2WinTi has been a member of various choirs growing up from age of seven and
well into his college years. Whether it was his School’s Choir, a Local
Community Choir or a College Choir, he would always audition and has never
turn down a choir's invitation, always accepting membership. Some of these
Choir’s includes: G.A.N.G (God's Anointed Now Generation) Riceboro, GA;
Georgia Southern’s Universities Mass Chior (Statesboro, GA); and Notable
Gospel Choir of the Historical Morris Brown College, (Atlanta, Georgia). In
addition to singing in choirs, 2WinTi branched out and while attending The
Historical Morris Brown, 2WinTi paired with (Miles AMill) Sean Johnson and
birthed the Duo Group 20Mile. The Duo’s diversity covered many genres of
music from Gospel, Pop, R&B, Rock, Neo Soul and et cetera. During this
time, 2WinTi began learning the business of music and has applied those
skill-sets over into his budding, solo career. 20Mile’s has recorded a
lengthy library of music and has a catalog of over 100 songs written.

This journey has not been easy; there have been many trials and
tribulations, ups and downs, blood, sweat, tears and continued
dedication.The experience all together that many artist has molded me into
the artist you see today. With the determination to share my message and be
heard, I have conquered many and I am still conquering industry challenges
presented before me. The milestones reached thus far are simply the
preludes of greater things to come.
